It's Over

I'm not going to write about any break ups, its about our school's annual concert.

We had it yesterday, Sun, 8/11/2009. What a relief???

A day before the concert, I had so many things to do, yet I took my own sweet time to complete those tasks. After leaving the legal world, I'm more relaxed when confronted with urgent tasks. Asalkan siap, it doesnt matter to me brp lama i ambil masa to complete them. Some people call it procrastinate, I call it - do things my way, my time...

Me & Shahrul had our brunch as usual. Shahrul decided to go to Mid Valley. Couldnt join him coz I need to buy 6 more scrolls for the graduation ceremony. The only place I know ada bende ni - Sogo. The first time merata tpt I cari until owner Pustaka Mukmin told me bende tu ada kat Sogo.

Friends, kalau u adalah wanita sejati, yg menghargai nikmat bershopping alone, armed with credit cards & cash, would u go to Sogo during Sogo sale & pulang dgn tgn kosong? I dont think so. Nak buat camne? Saya adalah wanita sejati, so cepat2 gi tingkat stationery & bergegas ke ladies dept.

Before pergi, told Shahrul, I nak beli scrolls & balik terus. Tak sangka pulak (ceh! mcm unintentional tershopping kan?) lekat kat Ladies Dept. What did I buy?

Kat Sogo, ada a few brands yg I like :

nicole mNj - they sell mostly tshirts, i love their selection of colours & tak mahal. One t-shirt will cost me less than RM30.

South China Sea - kalau pakai blouses SCS, nampak & rasa ladylike, cam perasan sweet je. I bought one blouse here; thot of pakai masa school concert but cannotlah, sleeve dia pendek gak, macam can see what colour I wear inside...

Young Hearts - they have one outlet opposite Toys R Us kat One U. Previously pakai Tr***ph. Walaupun cantik gak the design & colours, now cinta beralih arah ke YH. The colours, the motifs...mmg cantik & very cheap. One can get matching brief dgn harga yg berkali2 ganda murah dr TR***PH. A note of Caution - kalau ur size sama dgn Dolly Parton, tolong jgn jeling pun kaunter ni coz the salesgirl will tell you to watch Nip/Tuck first utk dptkan inspirasi...

Hush Puppies - I jarang beli brand ni coz mahal gak kalau ikut my budget tp hari tu suka sgt tengok their shorts (i just wear at home - for Shahrul's eyes only..huhuhu...jgn uwek uwek). Dahlah so cute pastu murah jugak, around RM25 je.

When I dah habis bershopping, I went out. Masa dtg, panas terik giler; then I heard the salesgirls kata hujan lebat giler. Bila I keluar, hujan dah gone...punyele lama dok dlm tu.

Mlm, I tried to cari lagu Aku Rindu & Wooly Bully. My teacher, I fondly call her Kak Sal coz she's 56 years old nak lagu ni for her students' performance. So far yg I cari not to her liking. I thot of giving one last try coz the only option we had adalah ini :

tak taulah zaman tok kadok bila lah kaset ni diproduce; nama penyanyi pun takde.

It was almost 1am when I prepared the Principal's Speech. Q-dees HQ did give us a sample but for the past 2 years I ikut their script, I was so nervous...pjg sgt each sentence. This year I decided to write my own speech. Malas nak print coz I had to switch to my desktop kalau nak print; I decided to save in my lappy. Guess what? My laptop terkujat on the concert day; I couldnt scroll down. Blessing in disguise; I did it spontaneoulsy & Shahrul said it was better than previous years.

I couldnt sleep that night; as usual before the big event. Wanted to get up @ 5.30am; I bangun 6.30am.
