Just to express my dissappoinment...we were there on 26/12/2009..already made a reservation for a room to accomodate 10 adults, 10 kids...We went all the way there just to watch in disbelief that the room has been given to other family...& I bet your staff/ the boss didnt have the courage to ask those people out...maybe because bigger group, more money for the restaurant...could clearly witness the effort made to accomodate those people...we went home, vow to never return again...Tq for showing us that when it comes to money, no other things matter...
And they replied
We deeply regretted with the incident, we have never encountered such experience. We admitted that we did wrong for allowing them to occupy the room without finding out if they are the rightful patron who did the reservation as our staff asked if the reservation were made by En.Muzaffar and they admitted they were, clearly they were not, until your arrival. We are truly sorry and we understand that you and your family came a long way from Sungai Buloh.
Please accept our apology and we are willing to give you 50% off from your bill at your next visit.
Please understand that we do not mean to take in bigger groups when it comes to money. We just want all our patrons to dine and enjoy the food as our hospitality comes first. The unpleasant incident that took place last night was very uncalled for. Once again, please accept our humble apology, we look forward to your visit soon.
Hmmmm, sounds interesting...should I bring the whole residents of Kampung Bukit Beruang (ini kpg saya) to this restaurant to celebrate in style my wedding anniversary on 4th March....its 50% discount tau...

I was mad because dr rumah all of us dah excited about going there....my Mom told me dia nak my brother & his family rasa the ambience makan kat situ...my brother & his family hardly eat out...mcm me & sisters takpe, mmg malas masak & mkn luar je...
I'm still mad but I really hope this post doesnt discourage you from patronising the restaurant. Try their Uzbekistan dishes, not forgetting our very own sambal udang. Also chicken wings...Kalau group besar, specifically ask for the room & make sure u give them your full name, how many adults & kids...
Why i still wanna promote their restaurant after that unfortunate incident? Coz the owner Melayu...kesianlah pulak
Just hope that the management has learnt sth from this incident...

I am a friend of the owner's daughter and also one of her blog followers. I read about this incident in her blog and she put a link of your blog in her entry. I think you should put yourself in their shoes. You can't put all the blame on them.
bila hati telah retak, 50% discount boleh tampal sikit keretakan itu.
just give them a second chance. if they still sucks, banned terus!!

Put yourself in our shoes & sudah tentu akan marah...except that maybe you would never face such situation coz u know the family...that was what happened that nite...nobody dared to ask those patrons to leave coz one of them - the owner's friend...
We were so mad...& we did utter this - kalau nak jamu kaum keluarga & friends je, why open to public
Somehow, my weakness mmg cepat kesian...hence I published the apology..rather than biar the first post je appeared dlm my blog...Now, readers can see that the owner did make an effort to apologise & compensate us...that's very commendable of them...& I personally appreciate this even if my family thinks nothing can change their mind...
FYI, we did promote this restaurant to our friends previously & that nite was our 3rd visit there...maybe at this point of time, mmg still marah coz the incident baru je lagi, in the near future tak tau lagi...

kalau dtg xbuat reservation, mmg lah xbley nak marah sbb 1st come 1st serve kan...tp ni dah buat reservation..siap dgn nama lagi...
kalau saya pon saya marah...pada saya, the lg boleh kalau nak minta secara baik dan berhemah yg lg satu family tu pindah tempat..explain baik2 the situation..dah kata member kan???..xkan kawan nak marah pulak??..xpe k.emy...saya sokong tindakan akak tue....hehehehe

Heemm...melarat jugak isu ni. Andainya aku maintain reservation kat De Chiangmai hari tu, mesti perkara yg tak diingini ni tak berlaku. Andai aku tak dengarkan rengekan Alang aku nak pi makan kat La Chateau ( macam org ngidam ngandung 6 bulan), nescaya takkan berebut bilik ngan keluarga Pakistan tu. Sorry, Lang , gurau jer.
Tapi Lang, saya percaya setiap sesuatu yg berlaku tu ada hikmah disebaliknya. ArRahman nak menguji hambanya. ArRahim nak menduga sejauh mana kekuatan ukhwah hambanya. AlMalik nak melihat seteguh mana kesabaran hambanya.
Setelah direnung2kan 2,3 hari ni, terus terang saya katakan, malam itu kita semua tewas. Baik yg Pakistan tu, owner restoran tu, dan dari side kita gak ( mungkin ada dlm famili kita yg tak ambil pot pun apa yg berlaku mlm tu), bless them but in general, kita semua tewas. Terbukti bahawa walaupun ada “Rule” dan “Regulation” tapi kalau takde “Relation” which is ukhwah, maka akan lahirlah “Rebellion” (R+R-R=R). Itu yg berlaku malam tu.
So Lang, izinkan saya rungkaikan kejadian malam itu. Islam dah ajar jgn ambil hak orang, tapi itu yang Pakistan tu buat. Islam dah ajar pertahankan hak orang, tapi perkara sebaliknya yg dilakukan atau tak mampu dilakukan oleh pemilik restoran tu. Islam dah ajar supaya kita jadi umat yg sabar dan pemaaf tapi sebaliknya yang kita lakukan.
So oleh kerana reservation tu saya yg buat, dlm erti kata lain saya yang start semua ni, saya nak mintak maaf on behalf famili saya kat semua orang, kat keluarga Pakistan tu dan gak kat keluarga owner restaurant tu atas segala yang berlaku.
Andai coretan ini pun ada yg tersinggung, maaf sekali lagi. Yg baik dari Allah, yg buruk dari saya sendiri.
