I got a JOB; yes a real job, jadi employee again.
Kalau pergi seminars psl entrepreneurship, I heard countless times - dont get a JOB, it means Just Over Broke, be your own boss...
So why look for a job now? Kan dah comfy jadi BOSS...
Yes! I dont deny that...me in my comfort zone, but there are reasons why I need to find a part time job :
1) Sejak kahwin, Shahrul dah bbrp kali kata teringin nak balik Sheffield Hallam U but tak kesampaian because of expensive flight tickets. Thx to AirAsia, now we can fly to UK & we want to fly next year coz March 2010 genap usia perkahwinan kami yg ke-10. Kalau ikutkan mmg tak mampu, but keinginan begitu kuat utk pergi. Tutup mata, pekakkan telinga, 2 weeks ago, swipe credit card for close to 4K return tickets for 2. Alang2 dah kat sana, teringin nak ke Disneyland Paris (I've been to Disneyland Tokyo & HK) & menjelajah Scotland.
2) My parents want me to accompany them pergi umrah. It will my 1st, their 3rd time there. Shahrul dah pernah pergi so dia nak pergi haji pulak. My parents are willing to pay for my expenses, tp seganlah kan. Dah besar pjg, still nak menyusahkan parents.
3) Saya plan nak backpacking in NZ pada tahun 2012. Its my dream & saya nak menjadikannya satu kenyataan.
Profits yg dpt from biz kena invest balik lah. Payah nak jwb dgn auditor kalau byk sgt personal expenses...so kena cari duit lain utk berjln...
4) In 2007 & 2008, I buat 2 part-time jobs; mengajar kat Vital Years & PACE. 2009 stop setahun coz I was bz with Yoga Instructor Course & Diploma in Learning Disorders. I'm done with the yoga course; dont intend to proceed to Level 2 coz of the haram issue. In January 2010, I will continue with the Diploma in Learning Disorders, having completed Module 2, skipped Module 3 because I have to be in school during the school hols, sambung Module 4. Habis Module 4, I kena buat Module 1 & 3 pulak.
5) My school ends at 11.30am. By 12-12.30, I shd be at home. Sepjg tahun 2009, rasa mcm tak produktif sangat. Online most of the time & now dah rasa slightly bosan. Very unproductive. The books I bought terbiar je kat shelves. Rasanya if I keep continue doing this, my brain beku nanti.
Bukanlah boleh kaya jd part-time tuition teacher esp if you work for people but atleast I taklah ambik byk sgt from my biz. My friends tanya kenapa tak buat sendiri coz I dah ada database & ada parents want me to coach their primary schoolgoing children. I wanna concentrate on my kindy & taknak pening2 kepala buat tuition pulak. Kalau ni, I dont have to worry about syllabus, materials...
Shahrul tak kisah as long I dont work on weekends. I will start working tonight at AKADEMI GADING. They just set up their 3rd centre here. I can choose to work at other established centres but I prefer to start with small number of students first so that I can brush up my skills again. Later, I know I can handle more students. And I'm happy to know that I'll be working side by side with Kak Nik. I met her once; a very nice lady & I heard she's a very experienced teacher.

Sometimes, utk orang baru macam I yang baru nak merangkak rangkak dlm rumah tangga dan worklife neh, should have 1 mentor to encourage me to work hard for a better future

Wah, esok esok boleh lah kita share cerita pasal tuition class pulak... Hehe, saya cuma ajar primary school student, Standard 4 & 5 ..
Nowadays, banyak sekali dugaan ajar anak orang kan.. tak semudah yang disangka..
I am looking forward to have a kindy/nursery biz too but yet to decide as a lot of pro and cons to be considered ;)

its all about loving yourself, your life...think about what u wanna do with your life, what u enjoy most, your passion...then work hard/smart to get what u want. Always believe in yourself, your abilities..
there are hurdles along the way, but if you love yourself, your life, come what may, you will be able to handle those...
be willing to make sacrifice along the way if the rewards are far greater than the hardship...
above all, love yourself & the people who love you, dont take them for granted, and this I hv to remind myself too, love Allah...
kindergarten/ nursery biz not for everyone...work with someone first, then u can decide whether the biz is really for you. Its not an ez biz, maybe low capital but you really need to have passion & patience.
